Montgenèvre

Perched at an altitude of 1860 metres, Montgenèvre has been a favourite meeting place for skiers for over a hundred years. It is also home to the Durancia aquatic centre. Its reputation is based on its exceptional snow cover and sunshine, with its eastern returns and 300 days of sunshine per year. The resort, located a few kilometres from Briançon and surrounded by a magnificent larch forest, has retained the charm and character that made it a success throughout the last century. Its heritage... has been preserved and you can admire the Napoleon obelisk, the Janus fort or the Chaberton fort. The Italian border is not far away and by staying at our hotel Le Chalet Blanc you can reach Turin, which is just 1 hour away.
